INSURANCE AND LIABILITY REQUIREMENTS
During the period of a resulting services contract or Purchase Order, the Vendor will maintain, as applicable, at its expense, insurance with limits not less than those prescribed below. Insurance underwriters will be acceptable to the City. The City of San Marcos, 630 East Hopkins Street, San Marcos, Texas 78666 will be named as an additional insured. The City will receive thirty (30) days’ written notice to the Certificate Holder prior to cancellation or material change of any insurance referred to in the certificate.
Failure of Certificate Holder to provide evidence of full compliance with these insurance requirements or failure of Certificate Holder to identify a deficiency from evidence that is provided will not be construed as a waiver of Insured’s obligation to maintain such insurance. Commonly-required Insurance coverage is as follows:
Automobile Liability: Operation of motor vehicle on City property
$1,000,000.00 per occurrence
Commercial General Liability (Including Contractual Liability):
$1,000,000.00 per occurrence / $2,000,000 aggregate / City named additional insured
Workers’ Compensation: Statutory Limits / Waiver of Subrogation
Professional Liability:
$1,000,000 per occurrence / $2,000,000 per occurrence for Architects/Engineers
Cyber Liability Insurance:
$2,000,000
