Donation Locations
Participating apartments will have donation stations in the front office where residents may bring their reusable items.
How Does It Work?
Donation stations will have seven bins for collecting clothing and accessories, electronics and batteries, unopened non-perishable food, hygiene products, school supplies, luggage and backpacks, and household goods. See Accepted Items for more information about accepted donations and conditions.
- All clothing, luggage, and household goods must be in like-new or gently used condition. If you're unsure about an item, ask yourself, "Would I use this?" If not, please dispose of the item in the trash.
- Non-perishable food and hygiene products must be unopened and not expired.
- Both working and damaged electronics are accepted.
Please sort your donations into the appropriate bin. Remember to drop off items at the donation station by Wednesday August 23rd.
All items received will be donated to a local non-profit organizations, recycling centers, or reuse businesses. Damaged electronics will be recycled.
San Marcos Resource Recovery will service the donation stations each week of the program on Mondays, Wednesdays, and Fridays. All donations and bins will be collected Wednesday, August 23rd.
