Action Plan

HUD requires the City of San Marcos to complete an Action Plan for Community Development Block Grant - Disaster Recovery (CDBG-DR) funds. The plan, including any amendments, will outline how the City of San Marcos is using CDBG-DR funding to help the community recover from the May and October 2015 floods. Community Input

The City of San Marcos would like to ensure that the plan lines up with the need of the community. There have been several opportunities for citizen input on the action plan and input will be collected on any amendments to the plan.

Unmet Needs Assessment

The Unmet Needs Assessment guides the City of San Marcos through a process for identifying and prioritizing critical unmet needs for long-term community recovery. The assessment takes into account work already accomplished, community goals, and the City's capacity to plan for, manage, and implement a coordinated long-term recovery process. The ultimate goal is to enable the City of San Marcos to better design recovery programs that are responsive to the types and locations of actual needs on the ground.
